Houston, TX · 1999–present · active

San Diego, CA · 1992–present · active
San Diego's P.O.D. (Payable On Death) fused nu-metal, reggae, hip-hop, and their Christian faith into a genre-bending sound that broke through to mainstream dominance with 2001's 'Satellite,' which sold over three million copies. Sonny Sandoval's impassioned vocal delivery and Marcos Curiel's inventive guitar work, blending Latin and world music inflections into heavy riffs, gave the band a warmth and diversity that set them apart from their nu-metal contemporaries. Their Grammy-nominated catalog and enduring hits like 'Alive' and 'Youth of the Nation' have kept P.O.D. relevant across generations of rock fans.
Charlotte, NC · 2014–present · active
Charlotte's P.O.W. drag down riffs from the murk of sludge and doom, rolling out slow-burn heaviness rooted in weed-soaked Southern misery. Formed in 2014, they trade in the kind of suffocating low-end that makes the floor feel like it's sinking.
RI · 2019–present · active
Rhode Island's P.V.D. keeps raw black metal stripped to its most caustic and primitive essentials, with no polish and no compromise. The project's name doubles as a hat-tip to the Providence punk underground from which it emerged in 2019.
Wilmington, NC · 2017–present · active
Out of coastal Wilmington, North Carolina, Paagtheaan conjures black metal with a cold, isolated atmosphere that suits a port city sitting at the edge of the Atlantic. Active since 2017, the project channels traditional second-wave fury into something distinctly American.

Pacto de Mutilación is a blackened death metal band from Manta, Ecuador, founded in 2017 by José Rodríguez and currently signed to Entocomophobic Records. The band channels anti-Christian and occult themes through a savage blend of black and death metal, releasing material including the demos Culto Tribal and Lamashtu, followed by the 2021 EP Lamashtu II and the full-length Sanguinaria Misantropía. Their sound reflects the ferocious underground metal scene that has emerged along Ecuador's coast.
Seguin, TX · 2016–present · active
Seguin, Texas may be a small town between San Antonio and Austin, but Paegan brings full-on death metal brutality since 2016. Their sound leans into crushing tempos and unrelenting aggression drawn straight from the Lone Star extreme underground.
Santa Ana, CA · 2018–present · active
Santa Ana's Pagan Revenge blends the crushing weight of doom with hard rock swagger, conjuring a sound that feels like a pagan ritual held in a desert biker bar. Formed in 2018, the band channels Southern California's underground heavy rock energy into something genuinely menacing.

Pagan Spirits is a black metal and ambient project from San Miguel, El Salvador, formed in 2013 by the two-piece lineup of SpiritMoon (vocals) and SpiritLord (all instruments). Their themes center on paganism, ancestral heritage, and Central American nature, explored across demos, splits, and the 2023 EP Forjadores de nuestra sangre pagana. Recording has taken place at Helvete Studios and Black Metal Kommando Studios in El Salvador.
