Skeletal Incineration is a San Diego, California death/black/thrash metal band formed in 2004, forging a destructive hybrid of the three styles that leans into the darkest corners of each — the speed of thrash, the malevolence of black metal, and the low-end grotesquerie of death metal. San Diego has historically been fertile ground for this kind of cross-genre extreme metal brutality.

Skeletal Prison is a death/thrash metal band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 2021, channeling the aggression of late-80s Teutonic thrash and early Florida death metal into a sound that is punishing, riff-forward, and uncompromising. Rockford's rust-belt grit is a fitting backdrop for this kind of stripped-down, mechanical heaviness.

Skeleton Proof Tanks is a melodic death/thrash metal band from Ridley, Pennsylvania, formed in 2021, blending the melodic sensibility of the Gothenburg tradition with the raw kinetic energy of American thrash. Their name alone signals an irreverent streak that sits alongside otherwise earnest extreme metal aspirations.

Originally from Ohio, now Austin-based. Blackened thrash perfection.

Operating out of Juneau, Alaska since 2000, Skeletor blends the twin-guitar punch of power metal with the relentless attack of thrash, an unlikely combination born in one of America's most isolated state capitals.

Fairbanks, Alaska's Skellum has been delivering hard-hitting thrash since 2012, a testament to the tenacity of metal communities thriving in one of the continent's most remote and severe climates.

Out of Santa Fe Springs, California, Skeptor has been honing a razor-sharp technical speed and thrash metal attack since 2014 — a Southern California act rooted in the region's rich thrash heritage but pushing toward more intricate, precise territory.

Formed in St. Clairsville, Ohio in 2020, Skiba drags the heaviness of doom metal through thrash's aggressive forward momentum — an unlikely combination that suits the gritty, working-class sensibility of the Ohio Valley.

Salt Lake City's Skies of Redemption has been fusing melodic death metal's emotive sweep with thrash's urgency since 2009, occupying an aggressive but melodically aware corner of Utah's metal underground.
