Bergen County, New Jersey's Cold-Blooded Capitol plays groove-infused thrash that inherits the dense riffing legacy of the New York/New Jersey metro scene while leaning into the stomping rhythms that defined groove metal's peak.

Long Island's Coldsteel brought East Coast thrash fury out of East Patchogue in the late 80s and early 90s, a hard-edged outfit from the same suburban metal seedbed that produced several of New York thrash's more underrated acts.

East Hartford, Connecticut's Collective Brutality brings together the technicality of progressive metal with the violence of death and thrash, a Connecticut act that earns its name through dense, punishing arrangements.

Seattle's Colony Drop takes its name from a cataclysmic sci-fi weapon and plays accordingly — crossover thrash that hits hard and fast, steeped in the Pacific Northwest DIY ethos that keeps the scene honest.

Richmond, Virginia's Colossal Wreck plays death-infused thrash with the direct, no-nonsense approach typical of the Richmond scene — a city that consistently produces metal with more grit than polish.

Bellingham, Washington's Come Horrid Sigil weave progressive and technical ambition through their death and thrash metal, building arrangements that are as intricate as they are violent. The Pacific Northwest acts as a fitting backdrop for their dense, challenging sound.
