Atlanta's Demitri arrived in 2023 with a groove and thrash metal approach suited to a city that has always rewarded heavy riffs with a rhythmic backbone. Young and sharp, they channel the thrash/groove hybrid that defined much of the 1990s extreme metal landscape but give it a distinctly Southern swagger.
