Chepang
Chepang formed in Queens, New York in 2016, founded by Nepalese immigrants who self-designated their music as 'immigrindcore,' combining powerviolence, grindcore, crust punk, and noise rock with Nepalese-language lyrics addressing class inequality and political resistance. The band's unconventional lineup includes two drummers and two vocalists, producing a chaotic and physically overwhelming sound. They signed to Relapse Records and released Jhyappa in 2025, continuing a discography that includes Chatta (2020) and Swatta (2023).
