Trouble
Trouble formed in Aurora, Illinois in 1979 and are widely recognized as one of the founding acts of American doom metal, often grouped alongside Candlemass, Pentagram, and Saint Vitus. Their first two albums, Psalm 9 (1984) and The Skull (1985), are landmark recordings that grafted Black Sabbath's heaviness onto a spiritual lyrical framework. The band signed to Rick Rubin's Def American label for their 1990 self-titled album and continued recording across eight studio releases.
