Skaltros is an ambient black metal project based in Ketchikan, Alaska, formed in 2020, and the remote coastal isolation of Southeast Alaska is audible in every note — vast, windswept, and desolate. They blend traditional black metal harshness with expansive ambient textures that evoke the Alaskan wilderness.
