Formed in Springfield, Missouri in 2012, Shadowgrove bring a mid-America sensibility to death metal — grounded, punishing, and free of pretense. The Ozarks region has produced a small but dedicated extreme metal underground, and Shadowgrove represent that tradition with a sound that prizes brutality over experimentation.
