Seattle, Washington heavy metal band Culprit were an early 1980s act who released their debut record on Shrapnel Records, contributing to the Pacific Northwest's early metal scene with polished, radio-ready heavy metal. Their 1983 debut "Guilty as Charged" remains a cult document of American traditional metal.
